I've read in a few places that Microsoft Access has some issues when it comes to holding larger amounts of data and I was wondering if there was any truth behind this and if there is what is the people's champion in holding theoretically infinite data?

I've had problems with Jet3.5x databases when importing large amounts of data (usually over 500,000 records). Don't know about jet4.

If you have money then I would suggest a SQL Server database. It is really fast and powerful and holds as much data as you can put into it. But... it's not as cheap as Access...
