i'm having a form of send mail...in that i've kept a small image of sendemail instead of a button....& for that image i can not write onClick=""..just like button..so i've given a link to that image...to a page which is having...massege...email sent successfully...but how i call my function of mail sending to a given email id..

If writing a Click event will solve your problem, you can certainly use an ImageButton, which is WebControl in ASP.Net.

If you explain a little bit more what your scenario is, give us some code to work with, we might be able to help.

You might be needing only a parameter ID in your query string, or something similar.
