Twain interface

Has anyone designed own twain interface? if u have any idea, plz suggest me.
Is there any free twain interface available?

do you have a word processing program? most of them let you use a scanner. when you configure the scanner, you are prompted to use TWAIN drivers. they are everywhere, and they are free!

I think is is trying to develop a TWAIN interface, not use it.

If this is the case, this question is better suited to the development forums such as Classic Visual Basic or Visual Basic .NET, or whatever language you wish to use.
