I built a small program using Visual Basic 6.0. I use it with my stock software. What it does is simple. I enter the closing stock price and if the price went up it will keep me a price 8% down which is my sell point if the price does not change nothing changes. The big problem is I have to manually enter the closing stock prices. It sure would be nice if I could program this thing to where it would hook up to Yahoo and retrieve the stock prices which I have entered into the program. My TC2000 stock program does this by connecting to the TC2000 data base. The stock quotes on Yahoo or free but I have no idea on how to make my program hook to their data base and retrieve certain information, such as the closing price. If any one could help me with this I sure would appreciate it. I have to say I am no wiz bang on all this so be nice.:)If you can not help but know of a place where I could obtain this information I would appreciate that also. Thanks
