About to give up

I try and try to upload a mp3 to my geocities site but i CANT!!! ive tried to upload them to a online hrad drive thing like idrive.com or xdrive.com but no luck either..

What is the big deal?? are mp3's that bad??

Is there anyway i can upload a mp3 file to my web site?!!!!

Please any help would do...

Try zipping it up. You won't get hardly any compression but it will hide the fact that it is an mp3 file.
The other way is to simply rename the file. ie. Change it from Music.mp3 to Music.js and then upload it.

Will i still be able to play the mp3?

I should have mentioned that in the begining but i was so upset i forgot :)

also if it isnt too much to ask...how can i change the mp3 format to something like .wav and still have the same playback sound?

Hi Sophtware,
You can still play the mp3 file. Just unzip it if you zipped it up or rename it back to .mp3 if you changed the file extension.
If you want to convert .mp3s to .wav then do a search on the net for a program called MP32WAV which is a freeware decoder and works pretty well.
