Smooth Scrolling text in asp:textbox

I posted this in the javascript forum as well, but thought it might relate here too. I'm trying to get the text in an asp:textbox to scroll. I've got this working using the javascript I posted here (http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=320821), however it is not as smooth as I would like it to be.

Does anyone know where I can perhaps get a free Scrolling text control? I don't have to use an asp:textbox, anything will go as long as I can populate the text from the code behind or xml doc.
