What the hell...
Well, due to a recent file system mishap I was forced to re-install windows. I didn't reformat, just re-installed.
Then, once it was finally reinstalled, I went to connect to the internet thinking that it's fine (I am still on 56k... can't get adsl where I am). And I noticed the "Connect to" button missing in start menu, I then went into control panel > network settings, found the connection no longer there. So I then went to re-create the connection, then when I went to choose what I have to I found this:

I took this screenshot on the computer I am currently on which is fine, however on the "fresh installed" PC the options which I have circled, are disabled and I cannot select them.
Is there a simple fix to this issue? Any help would be greatful as I really don't want to re-format.
Thanks!
