People Not Using [Code] Tags. John, could you maybe make a screen when people register telling them the vbCode tags. It is very annoying when people post long code samples without code tags

Before registering, everyone should really read the faq page (http://forums.vb-world.net/index.php?action=faq).

I agree with you gwdash, using the [code] tags makes code much easier to read, but you can't make a person read something. I don't remember where I was after I registered, but maybe directing them to a page that says, "Read our FAQ..." might help.

i think all threads should have something like "contain code?" check box
if that checkbox is checked either automatically (some how the code should be formated) or when they check that
maybe a little window comes up saying "use to begin and use to end snipps of code"
i think that checkbox will be effective because i am sure everyone would want that checked if it contains code...

for those that already knwo how to use the code tags that checkbox might get annoying... but they dont have to check it if they know it..

it would be superb if some how it auto formated it if it was checked.. (very time consuming to program this)

You know? tags are sometimes annoying, for e'xample, End ing this.

Let's say if you forgot the beginning?

Uh oh. It really mess up, and now if you forgot the end...

[code]

Sub Sample(Byval Ex as Samplib.Sample)
'comment

ex.sampleitem = integer long set sub function

(Doesn't make sense, but still...)

'Not good, is it?

remember to do them right. and maybe, if there not closed, then have them autoclose at the end of a message? Just an idea
