DO NOT WASTE TIME LIKE I HAVE BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS!!!!!
    Go to:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/sp/vs6sp4/default.asp

for the latest Service Pack 4.0.

I didn't know that this existed or even what the hell a Service Pack was. I thought that the fatal exception errors (blue screen of death) that I have been getting was due to the crappy PC (refurbished) my boss bought for me. Then I thought that it was my crappy code that I am attempting to write. When I used to click on the DataBase field property of a textbox or a checkbox my system resouces would got to 0% and then crash. Last week I was actually removing forms from my project so I can edit other forms. If I didn't my PC would crash. With this new service pack, the Data control tool (not the ADO one) recknozies my Access 2000 database.

It's like a miracle happened to me. If you suffer from any of the symptoms described on the Microsoft web site, I would condsider downloading. Maybe another programmer with more experience would like to comment on this thread.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please be aware that SP4 is prone to causing havoc when using the Package and deployment wizard, you may find that when you deploy your apps, you encounter a variety of problems...

We are currently in discussion with Microsoft, and when I get a fix for my problem, I am sure you will too.

Until then I run and build on SP3, with no problems at all. JPRoy392 I'm sure your intentions are good, but I reckon once you start deploying it's likely to go sour
