    econv()

    I don't really know any java, I am trying to decipher someone else's code to figure out why it is not working properly. Can anyone tell me what these lines of code mean? Thank you!

    email += "," + eConv(remBlank($8)) //$8 contains a first and last name

    if(str.match(/(.*)\s.\.\s(.*)/) != null)
    x = RegExp.$1 + "_" + RegExp.$2 + "@address.com"

    Re: econv()

    This is JavaScript, not Java. And it makes use of various user-defined functions.
