Hello
Very strange here. When I put my usb-stick in my laptop, it shows a floppy drive in stead. I can't save or copy, I can do nothing..
How can I make my usb-stick work correctly? Hope someone can help me out..

Funny. :D
Did the USB Stick come with the drivers required? What are the system specs and USB Stick's brand name?
If you don't have the drivers, google them. If you still can't find the drivers, then I guess you're screwed.

OS: Win XP
usb-stick: DANE-ELEC
The USB-stick works fine on other PC's, so I don't think it misses drivers. Especially not on a Win XP I think.. It's really strange..

I think it is, as you should be able to save/read files even if it were a floppy.
find the properties and download a new driver.

Do you have mapped drives that are different on this PC versus the PC's it's not broken on?

Look through your device manager and uninstall the driver it installed for the usb stick. Then, connect the USB stick and it should go through the rounds of installing a driver and hopefully it'll pick the right one this time. If it asks if you want to connect to windows update for drivers, let it do that.
