Because we would only be attacked on a bright sunny day!

The Missile Defense Agency has attempted to conduct the test several times this month, but scrubbed each one for a variety of reasons, including various weather problems......
Guess no one would dare fire a missle at us when the wetaher is bad. Even ruthless world dominating dictators would rather snuggle up to a fireplace with their loved ones I guess.

When I read that on BBCs site I thought the same thing, a defense system that only works when the weather is good
That's well worth $10 billion a year.

Well that's nothing compared to Mr Daimler, who invented cars that only work ON LAND!
Or the matches that only work in an oxygen rich atmosphere!
Or computers that run on electricity instead of, say, orange juice.
What fools!

Who says they only work in good weather?
Who says they work in ANY weather?
They won't even attempt a test in less than pristine circumstances.
"Well folks, if we are really careful, and stack the cards just right, maybe this thing will actually work."
I hope we at least got some useable experience out of this bloated excess of failure.
My usual boring signature: Nothing

In earlier testing of tracking and targeting systems, which critics derided as highly scripted, missile interceptors went five-for-eight in hitting target missiles.
The other 3 killed 4 million people! (both the target missile and the interceptor)

That's what you get if you insist on using Javascript.
