Does the range you want to select change at all (e.g. as you enter data into the worksheet the range changes location/size) or does the range always have the same cell reference(s)?

Could it be your syntax in this line?
    VB Code:
    1. range(r-10, c-1:r-0, c-0).select
    2. 'Should be...
    3. Range("A1:B10").Select
