Internet problem in Windows ME

The problem may be that you have Internet Connection Sharing set up. Try removing it and see what happens.

Cheers, that sorted it out. I did not set up the internet connection sharing myself, i guess Windows ME must have installed it on its own initiative. Damn thing.

Anyway, thanks again, seeing as no one else was responding. ;)

Iain, check to see if you have a proxy setup. Go to Tools/Internet Options/Connection Tab if there is a proxy selected, deselect it and check the "Automaticly Detect Proxy" check box.
