VB and java communicating over network

hi everyone,

i'm in the mid's of developing a software where i need Java to interact with VB....over network...they have to send text to each other to communicate and do process.....is this possible?:( ...pls guide me....i'm new to programming

If you can find a way to compile a Java app into an ActiveX control then I can definately help you.
