Need forum help, + a question

I am not very experienced with forums.
Is there any help info on navigation and other such?

Also, I have one posting that had2 or 3 replies
(one my own -- not realizing I could edit my post).
    Now, it shows none.
    What is that about?

    Thanks!
This seems to be a really nice forum.

    Try to imagine this:

Each of the 'forums' (Classic Visual Basic, VB.NET, Forum Feedback) is a folder. When you open these folders, you find a lot of 'threads', which are files.

    There you go, navigation.

Second, paste the URL of the thread you're talking about here so we can look at it.

    That posting is now gone.
I will have to wait 'til the next one.
Where do I go to find general info,
like how long a posting stays, what are the
ways one could make a posting last longer,
what are the courtesy considerations in such,
    etc.

    Thanks,
    Jim

It maybe that the thread has just gone off the first page, I would expect it still to be there unless it was deleted for some reason but only you or a Moderator could do that. See if you can see the post at this link: http://www.vbforums.com/member2.php?...ewsubscription
When your thread has been resolved please edit the original post in the thread ()
