Post more info. These issues get extremely complicated. List everything including every IP and exactly what you are doing and from where.

    OK

I an working from my computer (192.168.0.141) useing IIS to host my web page. my computer is connected to a router that servers my entire house are internet connection comes in right to the router. The router ip is 192.168.0.2 i have the router set up so that it will forward any request on port 90 to my computer (192.168.0.141). I can get to the site fine (on any computer in the local network) if i type my local ip into the adress bar http://192.168.0.1 but if i try to use my WAN ip 68.67.121.42 it says that the page does not exsist.

    any help would be great.

    thanks,
    Nate

You did not say which IP you are at when trying the WAN IP.

Well, at any rate, I can ping the IP 68.67.121.42 from here. But a web browser does NOT open anything up when I browse to 68.67.121.42. Either the router is not forwarding port 80 to your web server's IP, or your web server is not set up correctly.

some isps block those ports since you are not supposed to have servers on them, but it depends on their policy...
I'm having a problem here. Do I put the serial number in the box that says 'serial number,' or do I put it in the box that says 'company'? - Oh, those poor tech support people
