I just got a DVD+/-RW and now I want to burn some DVDs. But I have no idea how to go about doing it, what software I need, etc.
Right now I have two DVDs I want to burn. One is a DVD+R disc, and the other is just a regular DVD (it looks like a movie DVD, doesn't say +R or anything on it).
How can I go about making copies of these?

you need special DVD burning software. google DVD Creator. i don't know of any free ones. i have one, but it burns one to two, so that you have to switch dvds to watch the second half of the movie.

If you just wanna burn data DVDs, use Nero Burning ROM v6 or greater. It can do movies too, just not as well as other dedicated programs.

I burn dvd's all the time, Here is what i use.
I use:
DVD decrypter - to decrypt the dvd
DVD Shrink - to shrink the dvd so it fits on one disk
NERO - To burn it to another dvd

Right now I'm using DVD Shrink to rip the DVDs and Nero to burn them...but Nero is a trial and will run out soon. I tried using DVD Decrypter to burn the DVDs (since it's free), but can't figure out how to get it to burn more than one movie file to a DVD.
But thanks for all the help and suggestions. :thumb:
