-Status ailments (poisson, paralyzed)
-Adjustable NPC moving speed
-More like this

I need about 3-4 scripters for this, and 5-6 GFX artists, because I only want custom made GFX, all GFX will be copyrighted so it won't be used by any other games. I do not need VB wizards as this project doesn't seems really hard to me, but I do wish that all scripters know basic VB6, and some advanced stuff. Apply by email or msn (Iamevilmaster@hotmail.com) Be sure to include any previous projects of yours, the experience you have, and how much time you are planning on worknig on the project. You will most likely not get get payed for working on this, but if I ever change the game to a pay to play game, you will get the part you deserve.

wow, this game looks really cool so far. It would be cool if it was open-source and you had a single player mode. If you enable single player mode you may also want to prevent hacking and such by adding single players to the game. Are the characters stored on a server or a client computer? If they are on a client computer you may run into problems~~~editing a games character is probably pretty easy from their own computer. Perhaps you should make a copy of the character to the game server and have it synchronize the characters and if they don't synchronize right have them choose an option to either delete the character or download the character from the server over their "hacked" character.

I went on a rant...Sorry. The game does look awsome and I hope it turns out good for you! ( Looks kind of like one of the old Zelda games played on SNES.:thumb:

I see this was done in VB?

I don't think it'll be open sourced cause it will be much work, and with all those kids around here, all credits towards the real programmers will be eaten. A MMORPG with a single player mode... sounds ok, but hacking will be so much easier then. All characters are saved on the host's computer, so not on the players computer. and the Zelda tiles will prob be changed to 3-d stuff, custom made GFX and ****. Glad you like it so far though.
It was done in VB 6.

I would suggest upgrading to vb.net and managed DX9...
