a few questions:
1. at what age do people normally finish coledge? (4 years or something)
2. lets say that I finish colledge at 22, how much do people with 10 years vb experince get?
3. by the time I hit 22 I will have 10 years of experince (unless I quit vb) so in my resume will i be able to put 10 years of experince or will I have to be working for someone?
4. do VJ++ get as much as vb developers?

In England most degrees are 3 years, or 4 years with one year in a work placement. With 3 year course you would usually finish at age 21 or so.
You can certainly put that previous experience on your CV but it's not going to count for the same as 10 years experience in work. It will definitely count for something though. Just make sure that you get the point across that you're not a sad geeky type who does notheing but write code and grow his fingernails for fun :)
Where the money is at the moment depends on who you ask and what the time of day is to be honest, but I am pretty sure there's a fair amount of money in Java. Bear in mind that the degree of skill/experience in that language is a factor too - you can be a Java programmer, nothing too fancy, and earn less than a VB programmer who's working as a consultant on a COM+ project or something. As far as I know, on average Java pays better for the moment.
People normally finish college at the age of 21. Had to start finding a job if you dont want to study anymore. But actually when you're working, you'll soon discover that learning doesnt stop there, it's a continuos process... its for your self-improvement.
But before you can have a 10 yrs experience in VB, there will be soon a new programming language that will hit the industry... and maybe we'll even go for that one if we want to be not left behind...

1. at what age do people normally finish coledge? (4 years or something)
If they keep spelling it coledge then they never finish.
But in Australia we don't have "college" we have University and most technical courses are 3-4 years long, depending on if you do honors.
This means if you consider the majority of the population to go directly to Uni after finishing high school they graduate when they are 21-22
2. lets say that I finish colledge at 22, how much do people with 10 years vb experince get?
NOTHING
Because if they are silly enough to spend an entire 10 years doing nothing but VB and they have stuck with it since Version 1 then they are out-moded people who are so set in their ways you wouldn't hire them for nutz.
3. by the time I hit 22 I will have 10 years of experince (unless I quit vb) so in my resume will i be able to put 10 years of experince or will I have to be working for someone?
You won't be able to put 10 years on your resume because NONE of that experience is in a commercial environment. They don't give a diddly squat what you did at home or during Uni... only what experience you have received out there in the field.
I have over 15 years experience and I'm 28, have managed a sizable company when I was 15 and worked more than most people in their mid-30's but it means nothing to the people who hire/fire.
4. do VJ++ get as much as vb developers?
No they don't as it isn't as widely used. Then again... if your goal is to specifically be "A VB Developer" you wont get anywhere.
Learn the "craft" not how to use a particular TOOL that the craft provides. I can code in everything from Cobol, VB, Progress, Ingres, C, Java, ASP, PHP, Perl, Clipper and another handful of languages.... Sticking to JUST VB says you only think like a microsoft drone when solving problems

There is no age to finish college. I'm on my first year and im 21. There are people in my classes that just started and are like 41. There is no "Normal age" However if you had to pick a average i would say 30 years old. College can last you a long time especially if you take up more then one thing. For example im getting a 2 year programming degree then a 4 year degree in computer science. Don't let the age bother ya!
