    Subreport Link

    Hi,
I tried to create a report with 6 subreports. The main report is grouped by a field called RFS. Again it is grouped by a field called EmpCode. The second grouping is done in order to place the corresponding subreports in the second group. The subreports display correctly as it is linked to the EmpCode in the main report. But the problem is that, it does not recognise the first group in the main report. Is it possible to link two fields in the main report to the Subreport? Please help.

    Page Header

    Group1
    RFS
    Group2
    EmpCode Sub1 Sub2 Sub3 Sub4 Sub5 Sub6

    Thanks

To link a parameter in the subreport to the main report, create a
parameter in the MAIN report and link it to the subreport. Then
when you set the value in the subreport it will carry through the
main report. Backwarkd thinking, but it works.
