How the hell do you use the search facility o this site. The blank box doesn't give many clues. How would I, for example, search the database forum for all unanswered threads ? I've put this post in forum feedback because I feel this is an area that most people don't use but would find useful if they knew how to use it !
On top, click Search (http://forums.vb-world.net/search.php) on the top, and it will give you a bit more options.

In a word You can't!
OK that's 2 words.
I've been asking John for that functionality ever since I joined the forum.
I don't think he knows how to do it! :)
He could always post a question on the forum I suppose...
How about a TOC of topics, sort of in the form of Windows navigator. Would take some work to get up and maintain, but with James doing everything else on the site it would give John something to do.
Actually am seriously suggesting it....doesn't need to be a huge list...just a drill down to point people in the right direction.

How would one identify an "Unanswered Thread" ? many thread's have posts but were not answered, many threads are answered that are not closed.
That'd be one magaical piece of SQL!
You grasp the paradox of the sit grasshooper.
Having posted a number of questions, the results fall into three separate catagories.
1. Question fully answered with at least one solution.
2. Question not answered....where is a guru when you want one.
3. Answers completely off the topic or wrong, (have done this occasionally myself).
