I'm now the grand age of 300 posts and will be soon drawing out my vb-pension. (Sitting in an arm chair smoking a pipe) I remember the days when you could come to this site and buy a loaf of bread with tuppance , the kid's didn't know anything, and I still had hair. oh how things have changed since then.
Just like to say thanks to all that have helped me, and hope my advice has been good to you.

Mine, denniswrenn's, and V(ery)'s went down by about 50-100 each ;).
mine went down EXACTLY 50... yours and V(ery)'s went down 100, so that proves I am not the most useless poster, HA!

Diary - Britain, September 11, 2000
Our government f****d up again, and now the lorry drivers have blockaded the refineries. Cue huge petrol shortage. I'm planning to rip whoever's responsible's teeth out - where is he???

I've had to leave my car at home today, because I haven't got enough petrol to go to work, or find a station that has petrol. I took the train and it was like a train in India. When I drove home last night I went past about 12 petrol stations and all of them were closed. This is going to be a fun week.

My car's just sat on the drive now. No petrol.
I couldn't even siphon any from my Dad's car as it's got an anti-siphon thing on.
Goddamnsonofabitch!
Manchester's getting like the dark ages. I'm going to have to find a horse to tame. Then of course I suppose they'll barricade the farmers so I can't feed the horse.
No problem, I'll get some huskies and a sled.
