    wireless bundle

hi, just wondering if anyone has had similiar problems or knows any optimal settings for better performance

I bought a wireless keyboard/optical mouse the other day along with surround sound system(subwoofer, speakers, soundchannel, etc)
everything is working great except.......the mouse is getting on my nerves! Maybe it has something to with interference to the receiver or something but sometimes it moves offscreen and i have to pick the mouse up to get the cursor back That isn't the worst of it though.....this is the main problem i want solved....while im playing CS my mouse will all of a sudden go straight up and start me spinning in circles...or go straight down and start spinning!

As you can imagine this can create problems during a game..

Any help would be much appreciated

try to update the drivers, both with Windows Update, and the mfg. One of them should have one that works.

well would i not already have updated drivers? since i just purchased the products and they built them and shipped them....?

I thought this was more of a wireless reception issue or something i could do to sensitivity of the mouse to make sure its stable and more smooth..

    calbrate

Look in the software that come with the mouse/keyboard, somewhere
you might have to (calibrate)* dont know if thats the right word but anyway had to do something like that, then it worked fine, that was with Itouch mouse/keyboards

look in control panel>mouse to make sure that the system is using the new mouse instead of your old one.

    also, check the battery condition.

i'd look in safemode to see if there are mices instead of mouse

What surface are you using the mouse on. Make sure it's not shiny, and isn't all one colour or something.
