    Can't add info to MySQL db [resolved]

    Code:
    	    mysql_query("INSERT INTO userdb VALUES('000000','R.a.B.B.i.T','password','Admin'")
    		  or die("something is wrong.");
    Always dies...I used the following to create the table:
    Code:
    $query=("
    		 CREATE TABLE userdb(
    		   id INT(6) NOT NULL auto_increment,
    		   username TEXT,
    		   password TEXT,
    		   rank TEXT
    		   )
    	   ");

    mysql_query($query);

    Modify your code to this:
    PHP Code:
    mysql_query("INSERT INTO userdb VALUES('000000','R.a.B.B.i.T','password','Admin'")
              or die(
    mysql_error ());
    This will tell you what the error was. In your case you have set auto increment on the first field. Therefore you do not include it when ou insert a record. You also didn't terminate the brackets.

    Code:
    INSERT INTO userdb VALUES(NULL, 'R.a.B.B.i.T','password','Admin');
