data control error

I am working with several recordsets and forms. The recordset is of a link table, and I am updating certain fields in responce to User's input on a form. When I close the final form, between when I press the close button and starting the Unload Event, the first record (according to the index) is over-written with some of the details of the last record I was altering. (I can see that the last record was updated correctly earlier.)

I cannot find why or where it does it. Any ideas?
