    .Net Sockets via Telnet???

    I'm new to VB in general and I'm starting with .Net, I looking for some good reads on the .net sockets. I'm looking to run some commands on a remote O/S 2 server via Telnet protocol to get data for my end app. I'm a n00b but want to start reading up.
