I recently changed the name of this computer from MG-ALT to DEV-ALT (policies, you see).

Now, I am able to access the machine as:

http://mg-alt/index.aspx

as well as:

http://dev-alt/index.aspx


Why is this?

I tried pinging these names, both exist with the same IP address.

How can I get rid of "MG-ALT"!!?
