Can anyone send me a sample toolbar ICON they created, or tips on how you create one. I made a VB custom control, and then have tried making a unique ICON for it using MS-Paint, but no matter what size/shape or color I make it in Paint, when it appears in the VB toolbar it doesn't look anything like it did in paint. Don't have a clue what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

To make your image look good in a toolbar, create it in a size either 32x32 or 16x16.

I found that VB won't accept icons made with Paint, so I downloaded Microangelo 98 from http://www.impactsoft.com
It's the best icon editor i found, is basically free, has LOADS of features.
Sounds like i wrote it doesn't it??!I wish I had!! :)

Do you mean the bitmap you assign to the ToolboxBitmap property of an ActiveX control? If so make sure the bitmap is only 16x15 (yes 15) pixels in size. Don't use more then 16 colors.
