YAAAYY - A small win for me.

I was getting popup browsers (ads) while I was surfing the net on my personal PC (wouldn't that be a personal C?)

I used Adaware and that didn't catch it.

I used SpyBot S&D and that didn't get it.

I used a popup stopper from Panicware - that didn't stop it.

I used HijackThis and nipped that sucker in the bud!

WHOOOT!

I was considering a reformat until now.

All is sweet.

On the other hand, one of my e-mails is being mega spammed and there is f all I can do about that (spam filters don't work).

Ya win some, you lose some.

Panda antivirus is good

I should check out the hijackthis software. I thought adaware and spybot sd was sufficient.
