My Computer was screwing up... As usual i have way too much stuff on my harddrive that i want to delete. So I Transfered 47.2GB (all i could really fit) on to another network computer. I was going to resize my harddrives partition and move anything i wanted on to the new logical drive format the old one and reinstall.
For some reason Partition Magic Screwed up and left my Main Partition Unreadable from Recovery Console but it works fine in Knoppix ;D (good old linux hasnt let me down yet)
Is there anyway i can repair the ntfs file system from linux or should i just create a new partion in linux (im gonna have to read up on this) and copy the files like i was planing to do in windows?
bah... I really need to get this computer working again ASAP.. but i need the files even more... (5 years worth of my deveoplment, MP3 colection)
I Know i should backup but even on dvds 98gigs is a lot..
Thanks For any help...
