where is AutoComplete database?
hello,
when you start typing a url IE autoComplete it. what I want to
know, is where those url are stored?

I think you'll find that the history stores the URLs and as you type it, it checks the history for urls that match what you have already typed and guesses the match(s) and then displays it.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

You can work it out by simple deduction...
Type in a random string into the address bar then hit enter, it will say 404 file not found or something. Close IE now.
Then open a search window and direct it to search for "Text in file" with the same string you typed in earlier. Wait for it to finish searching and you should get the file with the urls in it.
I don't live here any more.
