    .NET class to get an MP3 bitrate & playtime?

    I really need this, I've looked everywhere and already found ways to read the id3 header, but stil didnt find about bitrrate & playtime

    Any suggestions?

    edit: I know there are TONS of vb6 things, but I dont have vb6 so I cant handle them

    Since an mp3 contains MPEG audio data, you should check out how to read the Mpeg File Header (it starts after $FF $FA if i remember correctly :O)
    Tips:
    • Google is your friend! Search before posting!
    • Name your thread appropriately... "I Need Help" doesn't cut it!
    • Always post your code!!!! We can't read your mind!!! (well, at least most of us!)
    • Allways Include the Name and Line of the Exception (if one is occuring!)
    • If it is relevant state the version of Visual Studio/.Net Framwork you are using (2002/2003/2005)
