How to upload and display images in our posts?

Would you please advise how to upload and display images in our posts? Sometimes words do not explain well. With images, the explanation of our questions will be more clear. Appreciate for any help.

When you're composing a message, just below this textarea box, you'll see "Attach File", where you can browse for a local file on your PC, and choose to upload it.

Once it's uploaded, and your brand new post is in front of you, right click on the "attachment" link, get it's URL (Copy it), and click on the Edit button to edit the post you just made.

Then, add the [img] tags with the URL in between.

When I edited the post (... click on the Edit button to edit the post you just made), at the bottom part of the page (under Attachment), I was asked whether to (1) Keep current attachment (attachedfile.jpg) (2) Delete current attachment, or (3) Upload new attachment.

If I choose (2), can I still display (... Then, add the [img] tags with the URL in between.) the image in my post?
