    What do you mean by sidebar? You could use a panel or groupbox.

    a sidebar like the microsoft outlook.... where could i download new components for vb.net? do u have any idea? thanks...

    A panel or groupbox would probably work. I think the Outlook sidebar (where Outlook Shortcuts are) is done by using a splitter control, which is in the toolbox. Do a search on the forum or MSDN for splitter control.
