Selecting Default Codec?
With all the video editing programs (encoding/decoding) on my computer they all install there own codec.
I was wondering if there was a way to set what codec to try first as no codecs Render the new xvid encodes correctly and it gets really annoying...
This one codec "gtcodec" Grand Technologys (what a joke) or something kept crashing so i had to get rid of it...
is there a way to set the priorty? (tried installing xvid over didnt work) btw: after getting rid of gtcodec its trying to use Nero video codec..

So Unbanned

Try divx player, it seems to handle codecs better.

That wont work im afraid...
Adobe Premiere wont handle any xvid encoded files and im pretty sure its because of this same problem...
I have read that you can change the option in MP 6.4 but no later versions
Any methods?... it has to be changable some where
