Hi,
I have been developing in Access for 5 years now and believe I can handle almost anything required by the customer (you?). The part I do not know, I shall learn and implement.
I have a base database consisting of:
-- user login
-- replacement menu via coded table
-- security on forms
-- a database launcher to allow workgroup protection of data
-- split front end/back end (and middle) databases to keep each section of larger databases grouped together
Previous coding I have made includes:
-- overnight processing, scanning for new files in a specified folder
-- importing of text files
-- validation of data (imported and otherwise)
-- export to Word, Excel (automation) or HTML file
For Asp/Html please see http://www.thebuckners.co.uk/vince (html) or http://ecniv.whizzkid.nu (Asp).
I am available for evening development, and I would welcome an opportunity to try my hand at a commercial Asp site to a users specification.
