Hi.

I have an access 2000 database that has image fields with a path to an image on the server.

I currently open a report in MS word that embeds the images referenced from the database.

The problem is the images are quite large (up to 500k each) and in one go there could be 20+ records opened in word with pushing 20mb of images which slows the operation down to an unsuable speed (takes about 15 minutes to open).

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions on another way of doing this, is Crystal reports something that I should look at?

Also, does anyone know if there is a way of maybe opening ultra low res images in word say, but when you hit the print button is links to (without opening) a word file with hi-res images in place.
