    new app: asp.net or vb.net?

    I am working on an app in vb.net currently but started thinking that the app would look better as a web-based one. I don't know anything about asp.net so I was wondering if making this web-based interface (which, by the way, will be a front-end to a data-base) should be done in asp.net or php or both or what?

    any suggestion?

    Since you dont know anything about ASP.NET, this would be a great time for you to get your feet wet. With the help of myself and others on this board, you'll be up and running in no time.
