Read other processes memory

Hi all!

I think everybody knows this TextBox-Control's PasswordChar Property. But I need to know, how to read the 'hidden' text of a textbox, which runs inside another process (e.g. the WinZip's Enter Password dialog).
I need some tips in Visual Basic 4/5/6 but Visual C++ is also ok!
