ADO using Terminal Server
I have a VB app that I have installed on a terminal server using the P&D wizard. When it tries to select data from a VFP table I get the following RTE (-2147467259) Data Source Name not found and no default driver specified. I have MDAC 2.8 installed on this Windows 2000 server. It works fine on any other PC. Can someone shed any light on this?

First, when you installed your program were you in "Install Mode" on the Terminal server?
Second, can you post you connection code and the code in question?

VB Code:
Set Cnn1 = New ADODB.Connection
Cnn1.ConnectionString = "DSN=Visual FoxPro Tables;UID=;PWD=;SourceDB=r:\time;SourceType=DBF;Exclusive=No;BackgroundFetch=Yes;Collate=Machine;Null=Yes;Deleted=Yes;"
Cnn1.Open
Set rstEmployee = New ADODB.Recordset
rstEmployee.Open "select * from employee where mainmenu order by lastname;", Cnn1, adOpenStatic, adLockReadOnly
Yes it was in install mode.

I think it has to do with the DSN on the system. Is "DSN=Visual
FoxPro Tables" a File, Machine Specific, or User DSN?
Does your TServer have the FoxPro runtime files? You can tell if
there is an entry in the ODBC for "Visual FoxPro Driver"?

Check control panel/administrative tools/data sources. I would bet that the "Visual FoxPro Tables" DSN is a user dsn and not a system DSN. Copy the settings over and it should work.
