    Sybase and VB

    Could someone please let me know the code or an example to access sybase using VB from the system and if the VB prog is in the same server as sybase. I would appreciate it a lot.

    Lightbulb using VB and Sybase

    I just start using SYbase and vb net thru ODBC, it works just fine. what exactly is your problem/error. Once you setup the ODBC,it will take care of your connection on the network. The app could be anywhere and the data will be accessible thru ODBC, so far its the easiest mode.
    vb .Net ,CW5, Sybase, Crystal Reports.

    i have sybase 9 the problem if i try to access the database in the server it say server not found , im accesing it in the client using a udl file can you help me with this i also want to access sybase using VB via connection string
