Socket array vs individual sockets ?

What would be more efficient an array of sockets vs a buncj of individual sockets ?

This is obvioulsy for multi downloads. Say you knew your max number of downloads at any one time was going to be 20. Would you be better off setting up 20 individual sockets or an array ?

What are the pros and cons ?

I could think of a por to the array, that of having everytinh in one place... Though, when creating just the sockets, you have probably set your primary socket to index = 0, therefor it's an array also...
