Catching net send messages before window......

    Question,

Wanna write an inter-department chat app, but don't want to have to deal with the whole connection issue, etc. More of a way of messaging each other through a pretty interface. Yes, I know I can download one as well, probably hundreds, but I want to do it just for fun....

What I want is to have my app send a message to computer B, via the "net send" command in 2000/xp, and have computer b sit and wait for any incoming net send message. when one comes, put it in my pretty gui, etc.

can i do this, so the users don't have to keep typing "net send.....", and also, can i do this to avoid getting the window with the message like you normally would, almost intercept it before windows can get to it?

Researching as I type, never really saw something like this before...

actually, after looking this over some more, my main problem is finding a way to intercept the message before windows has a chance to display it to the users.

if i could get that part done, i think i would be good to go, the rest i have done before........
