Have you ever wanted to add an attachment in your post, then after posting forgot to add the bugger:confused:

I know i have, and many of times i goto to edit my post, and there is no option to add attachment:(

I think, you should be able to upload an attachment, if you have forgotten too in your post:)

Or a change to underlying (or whatever that word Martin uses is) code.

All you need to do is post a reply to your own thread with the attached file.

Listen to Plenderj, you even get a free ekstra postCount++ too...:D...

But I still think it should be possible to edit a post, and add an attachment. Some threads get very long, like many pages, and it is not always fun to read through it all to find the right attachment. If it was possible to edit the first post or something, you could always have the last updated attachment there or something.

...Thus the reason i suggested this, if i forgot to attach, and post again it looks like im spamming, id rather edit the the first post in a thread as opposed to reply a new one.

This confuses other users too

I didn't test it, but try this (http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=273037) next time you forget to attach something.

Thats only a minute to realise though, and on my 56K!

One thing i have noticed, if you Edit a post within 1 minute, it doesnt show underneath that "Edited at ##-## GMT Time" thing:D

Its quite amusing sometimes watching people ready to send an attachment, it might take them hours to realise they forogt!
