    Mandrake and login ?[Resolved]

    I installed Mandrake 9.0 and while installation phase, it asked me what's the username and the password . I didn't enter anything and it proceeded to the next step . Now , after installation has finished . and on the 'Welcome to localhost' window , it asks me for lonin and password and session type . I tried to leave these fields empty but says login faild' .

    Help please .

    Try username = "root" without the inverted commas, and no password.

    Make sure to add a new user account for yourself and log in as that....minimise accidentally breaking things like in your other thread :|
