    MSN Messenger Picture Help

    hey,
    i wanted to know if it is possible to view the stored pictures we have from msn messenger. The display pictures that are kept as .dat files. (i think they might be png's or somthing aswell ) If its not possible to view them in a picturebox or anything, is it possible to copy and change the format of them, so they can be viewed? I would basicly like to be able to open them in a listbox/filelist and be able to click and view them.
    I hope someone knows what im talking about lol..

    any help at all would be really great.. thanks

    The display pictures are stored as .dat files, but are simply renamed PNG files. Since VB is such an old language, PNG support in the PictureBox & Image Control were never included, but I believe Sastraxi at GT made a control that will let you view PNG files in VB
