Network Chat
Hey everyone. I want to create a network chat program to use to chat with everyone on my home network. I want to be able to give online notification to users(similiar to AIM).
I was wondering if anyone had any idea on a direction to start with or know of any tutorials that would give me an understanding of what is involved. I'm new to VB.net but have pretty good experience in VB6, but cant use VB6 since it is only a Working Model Edition and you can't create a .exe file with it.
I'm quick to learn, so i believe I could get through it if anyone could point me toward a tutorial. I only need to communicate with 3-4 computers.
thnx
