OK, my friends computer has Realtek AC97 and his audio keeps echoing. Here's his description:

" any audio that plays has like a chorus effect that like duplicates the sound and it sounds like an echo"

I tried messing around with his sound controls and nothing seems to help. If you gots any helpful ideas...post :D

Does that card have an EAX plugin or option? That can do all kinds of sound effects, including making your pc sound like it's in the toilet bowl.
