    LAN administrative Tool for Gaming Cafe

    does anyone of you know of a link or site where i can get a software that can be used for a cafe? to be specific know the # of users that is active, shutdown the pc remotely, make it in standbyy mode, specify the time the pc to be active and then put it to standby. something like that.

    I realise that it's overkill, but Windows XP allows you to shutdown computers remotly as long as the user initiating the shutdown/restart has the same username and password on every client. If you have a domain, this is redundant and you only need to be an admin. You could always set the stand-by times to be low so that when unattended it goes into stand-by in like 10 mins or something. If you had Windows 2000 or 2003 server, you could specify login times and that stuff. I know it's not quite what you wanted but at least it's an idea. Windows should tell you who's logged into what and when and how long as well.

    maybe the programs i'm talking about is just here in the philippines. it is so powerful that any kind of attempt to access the pc without the permissino of the controller is rendered useless. thanks anyway.
